Accounting Intern

Our Client is in the private education arena, based in Greenwich, CT. They're looking for an eager, enthusiastic, motivated, and bright Accounting Intern to support their team.

• Support CFO, Controller, and Director of Finance with various projects - this is an excellent learning opportunity!
  
• Part-time internship: 20 hours per week within their business hours (8:00-4:30 M-F)
  
  What you'll do:
  
  • 
    
  • Cash analysis and reconciliations
    
  • Bank account analysis and reconciliations
    
  • Prepare journal entries
    
  • Help Controller analyze/prepare budget
    
  • Enter donations in their financial/donor system
    
  • Assist with preparing tax schedules
    
    What we are looking for:
    
    • 
      
    • Current student, pursuing degree in Accounting or Finance
      
    • Must be able to work 20 hours/week, with the hours of 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday (flexible)
      
    • Enthusiastic, eager, and motivated to get hands-on experience
      
    • Student-minded: take notes, ask questions, and take initiative in helping Accounting + Finance Group
