Full Job Description
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, Finance Data &
Integration Strategy. This is a hybrid role and will require you to
be in the New Brunswick, NJ office 3 days a week. Travel required
up to 10%, as needed.
Data is a core strategic asset for Johnson & Johnson Finance,
driving strategic initiatives and fueling the SigniFi Finance
Digital Transformation roadmap. Reporting to the Director of
Finance Data and Integration Strategy, the Manager will play a
pivotal role in shaping and executing our comprehensive data
strategy. The incumbents' responsibilities will extend to
overseeing data practices, data governance, and data management
within J&J's Finance Eco-System. Manager will be instrumental
in educating business partners, enabling them to unlock business
value through data analytics and other advanced digital
capabilities.
The candidate will also be responsible for supporting enhanced data
governance, data management processes and forums that facilitates
the effective/efficient utilization of data, and minimizing risks
from cross project conflicts. The candidate will work hand in hand
with business partners to embed the strategy into our ways of
working enabling J&J to significantly enhance business data and
finance capabilities and cultivating a culture where data is
routinely sought, valued as an asset, and utilized for
decision-making at all levels and functions.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a flexible and
strategic mindset, as well as well-rounded leader that includes
significant experience with finance technology (SAP S/4), finance
processes and related data models. We seek a self-motivated,
detail-oriented, and collaborative individual who demonstrates
excellent business acumen and the ability to influence
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Leads stakeholders and Global Finance teams (BUF, Global Services,
Treasury, Corporate, Supply Chain) in developing and executing
strategies to govern, manage, comprehend, and better utilize data
to drive business outcomes.
Provides data stewards and SME's counsel and partnership that
enables enhanced business capabilities by executing best in class
data management approaches across enterprise finance programs/
projects.
Responsible for analyzing data, identifying patterns, and
extracting insights that will help drive business decisions.
Perform ad-hoc analysis presenting findings and communicating
insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise
manner.
Monitor data and identify areas for improvement through data
quality checks against key performance indications to ensure
accuracy and completeness of data.
Champions data strategy for all Finance Functions and Enterprise
initiatives. Promotes awareness and full connectivity to SigniFi
Enterprise Designs.
Collaboratively reviews, analyzes, evaluates ideas, projects and
opportunities for new technologies and business needs ensuring
solutions are aligned with data strategy and data management
principles.
Primary point of contact to project teams to coordinate education,
training, design, solution integration, data validation quality
impacts to end-users and supporting organizations.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience is
required.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a
major in Computer Science, Business or Finance.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Financial data analysis and
reporting is required.
Deep knowledge of finance process (A2R, I2C, P2P, FP&A) and
technology (SAP S/4, SAP Business Warehouse) and the
inter-dependencies is required.
Experience in assessing and implementing data systems/technology
solutions within Finance business process requirements to
successfully drive operational productivity, strategy optimization,
process improvements, and efficiencies is required.
Proficiency to network, collaborate and generate consensus
effectively in a complex, matrixed environment possessing strong
communication skills, promoting inclusion, and building trusting
relationships with business partners.
A strategic thinker with the ability to bring clarity to complex
concepts and to translate business needs into operational finance /
technology solutions.
Proficiency in data analysis and data analysis tools such as Excel,
SQL, Alteryx, or Python Power BI, SAP SAC or QlikView.
Excellent oral and written communication, and analytical
skills.
Preferred:
Professional credentials or advanced degrees such as a CPA, CMA or
MBA/Master's and/or certification (e.g. Project Management
Professional (PMP), Data Management (DAMA)) is preferred.
Innovative and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to
translate a complex business operations landscape into a
streamlined process design is preferred.
Other:
The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based
compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is
eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the
terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a
cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual
targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's
performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded
at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
