Specialist, Earned Value Analyst at our East Hartford, Connecticut
location! The P&W Earned Value Analysis and Reporting
organization is looking for a self-motivated and disciplined
individual to join its team as an Earned Value Analyst. This
position provides the candidate with a unique opportunity to work
together with the Program Management Office and Engineering
customers. While in this role, the ideal candidate will provide
guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management,
Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis used in the execution
of the Military Engines Programs. The candidate will become an
integral part of the MDP program management team, providing
analysis and recommendations utilizing Earned Value tools and
methodology. What You Will Do: Support proper implementation of
EVMS and project management tools and processes through
coordination with and guidance to the technical areas as they
develop, plan, and analyze tasks. Provide project management
guidance to program team to ensure adherence to Earned Value
Management System (EVMS) guidelines. Perform risk assessments and
what-if analysis associated with task budgeting and program
performance. Actively support monthly program Estimate-at-Complete
reviews and Monthly/Quarterly Program Review preparation
activities. Facilitate monthly data reconciliation and compile
compliant Earned Value or project plan data approved by the program
manager and provide to the external customer. Support on-going
compliance reviews and periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and
Joint Surveillance Review). Strict attention to detail and internal
and external customer satisfaction focus is required to ensure the
team meets aggressive demands of military compliance programs.
Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of
professional experience; OR an Advanced Degree with a 3 years of
professional experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may
require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals
who possess US citizenship. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft
Excel, with a minimum of 5 years of analytical and trending skills.
Qualifications We Prefer: Strict attention to detail and internal
and external customer satisfaction focus is required to ensure the
team meets aggressive demands of military compliance programs.
Earned Value experience and analytical problem-solving skills with
knowledge of specific program management tools (i.e. SAP,
Primavera). General understanding of and openness to continuous
improvement principles. Demonstrated effectiveness working across
functions, organizations, and various levels of management with
strong written and oral communication skills. Comfortable executing
under pressure in a dynamic environment with the ability to focus

86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
