co-educational day school with a current enrollment of over 1400
students in grades N-12, and a faculty and staff of over 350. The
original Old Church Road campus is home to grades N-8. The new High
School, established in 2019, is located less than two miles away on

-Greenwich Country Day School seeks an Upper Elementary MakerSpace
Teacher, Grades 3-5. The ideal candidate will be a
tinkerer/woodworker/designer/coder with the vision to build the
capacity of faculty and students by pushing out to support all.
Successful applicants will possess content and pedagogical
expertise and a dedication to collaboration across curriculum.
Interdisciplinary proficiency is highly desirable.In addition, each

settingCommunication with parentsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or
demonstrated professional competencyMinimum of 3-years successful
classroom teaching experience with students in this age
groupEngineering skills or mindsetExperience with relative
MakerSpace equipment; 3D printer, laser cutter, CNC
routerExperience with inquiry-based learning and/or project-based
learningA passion for learning and the ability to motivate and
inspire studentsExcellent written and verbal communication
skillsCommitment to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive
school communityWillingness to take on multiple roles within the
schoolPersonal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of
children - must be energetic, creative, flexible, patient,
collaborative, and have an inexhaustible sense of humorPreferred
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in fieldAthletic
coaching experience is valued and welcomeDemonstrated experience in
establishing collaborative relationships with external
partners/organizations in the design and implementation of learning
