Job Description:

Company is hiring a Data Product Manager, Vice President to join the Platform Department. You will maintain our product roadmap in accordance with business objectives as set by senior management and client feedback. You will work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and measured approach to product delivery that meets client scope expectations. You will report to the Head of Data Product Management, Senior Vice President.Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. The location of the role will be based in Greenwich, CT once we reopen. Responsibilities* Mentor and manage other Data Product Managers* Partner closely with Business Development, Data Operations, Data Development, and other cross functional product and business teams* Balance short term needs of the Data Operations and Enterprise organizations to facilitate the growth of external client relationships and propose the long-term goals of client integration technology* Maintain a product roadmap consistent with business mission and vision* Work with stakeholders to develop new and upgrade existing platform features and discuss product development timeline and priorities* Collaborate with Software Engineering team to define and manage the software Quality Assurance process* Manage the weekly release planning and deployment schedule* Ensure the user experience and style guides are consistent across our entire product platform* Perform root cause and impact analysis to investigate data issues and make recommendations for potential solutionsCandidate Profile* Proficiency in SQL and hands on coding experience in the infrastructure or data space * Advanced understanding of reference and hierarchy data management, data governance, data quality, data processing and pipeline management* Integration experience and foundational knowledge in how systems efficiently communicate* Data modeling background and understanding of third normal form (3NF) techniques* 6+ years of experience leading agile data teams and 10+ years of experience building technical solutions. Experience managing teams internationally is a plus.* Strong prioritization and project management skills, including timely and proactive communication of timelines, status, and issue partner concerns* An enjoyment in presenting solutions to clients and partners and explaining complex technical concepts in simple language
