The Marketing Director is responsible for strategically and purposefully building the portfolio of Zarbee's products as well as any new categories the brand enters. The Marketing Director has oversight for the end-to-end consumer & professional marketing plans; delivering brand sales and share objectives; achieving key brand performance indicators; championing change; and leading cross functional teams to meet the needs of consumers, health care professionals, and retail customers.ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, the Marketing Director will:* Continue to increase brand awareness, purchase and loyalty in line with brand funnel objectives across the segments of the business.* Ensure Zarbee's continues to own the key brand attributes considered critical to long term brand health.* Develop, execute, continually monitor ROI and optimize annual marketing plans with excellence, bringing along all key stakeholders across all levels of organization.* Deliver results and build the organization by effectively managing the cross functional teams, direct reports and agency relationships.* Partner with a network of advertising and media agencies to set communication strategies and developing advertising platforms/executions that maximize business results.* Influence the long-term vision for the business, in line with the long-term brand strategy, by continually staying up to date on the latest consumer, shopper insights as well as market intelligence.* Develop direct reports: empower the consumer marketing team, assist in goal setting, provide development opportunities and performance feedback.* Drive Zarbee's culture and positively role model leadership to broader organization and external partners.Qualifications* A BA/BS in Marketing or business-related field is required. An MBA is preferred.* A minimum of 8 years business and progressive commercial experience is required.* A minimum of 3 years of people management experience is required with Proven track record of effectively developing direct reports* Marketing experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods healthcare environment is preferred. Experience with Natural products is a plus.* Strategic, critical thinker with ability to think both creatively and analytically.* Strong business and financial acumen; proven track record in managing P&Ls, financials and budgets.* Demonstrated track record and marketing leadership, including advertising, launching new products and business plan development, is required.* Experience with HCP (health care professional) marketing, strategic marketing, consumer research, trade relations, and sales promotion are strongly preferred.* Experience directing and managing multiple agency partners.* Ability to persuade & lead cross-functional teams/ diverse stakeholders across multiple levels (above & below).* Highly self-aware/mature and self-motivated.
