As the Vice President, Internal Communications, you'll develop strategy, editorial and planning for CEO internal and company-wide communications. You'll drive efforts to create enterprise and thematic content that is visual, timely and engaging to foster a winning culture, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and to support strategic initiatives. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead a team that partners cross-functionally to effectively communicate information about the organization globally and regionally, and to a non-wired hourly workforce
  • Serve as an advisor to executives on internal communications strategy, content, planning and execution
  • Partner with Human Resources to foster a winning culture, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion
  • Establish KPIs, tools and processes to effectively gauge effectiveness and audience engagement
  • Drive the development and execution of best-in-class communications practices
  • Create enterprise and thematic content that is visual, timely and engaging
  • Leverage creative approaches to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
  • Identify opportunities to optimize resources, develop and implement solutionsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
    • 10 years of applicable experience, ideally in-house or at a public relations agency Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience Experience within a global organization with a non-wired, hourly workforceIt'd be great if you also have:
      • Advanced degree in degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or closely related field
      • Demonstrated experience developing and effectively executing strategic plans
      • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with AP writing style
      • Track record of solid collaboration with the ability to influence and impact results at multiple levels
      • Excellent project management skills
      • A proactive nature and hands-on approach
