As the CFO Office Finance Manager, you will act as a primary contact for the CFO while developing solutions and strategies in complicated or unique situations and work with key stakeholders to achieve objectives. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead Townhall process; plan, design template, collect inputs, consolidate and polish presentations
  • Run and maintain a team morale barometer
  • Second CFO on critical trips/meetings, review calls, investor calls, take and distribute notes and follow up on actions
  • Drive balance of priorities for the CFO
  • Follow up on CFO requests to the organization
  • Report finance KPIs as a dashboard
  • Administration of CFO required paperwork
  • Develop closing binder for full set of financial actuals and forecasts
  • Support CFO on key process improvement projects
  • Participate in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) including model development
  • Participate in earnings preparation
  • Oversee strategic initiatives of the finance function
  • Provide key quarterly metrics and coordination with investor presentations
  • Work with a variety of executives and teams to glean required data from various disparate sources
  • Utilize various systems and BI to enhance reporting capabilities, leveraging operational and financial KPIs to manage various spend categoriesWhat you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent related work or military experience5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting Solid working knowledge of Oracle ProjectsExperience evaluating systems of internal control Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytic softwareAbility to perform database collection, use software programs to gather data for modeling and make meaningful use of the data It'd be great if you also have:
    Master's degree and/or CPA certification Background in logistics, transportation, warehousing or distribution 3 years of project management experienceKnowledge of various functional areas including operations, marketing, sales, pricing, project management, human resources and IT Thorough knowledge of financial monitoring and control, general ledger and accounts payable processes and procedures Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare capital and operating budgets Ability to monitor budgets, identify problem areas and make appropriate recommendations Excellent communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
