As the Manager, Financial Reporting, you will assist the external reporting function of a multibillion-dollar public company with operations around the globe. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Assist in the development and drafting of all components of 10K and 10Q filings, including the consolidated financial statements, notes to the financial statements and management discussion and analysis
• Draft accounting disclosures for various areas, such as the statement of cash flows, stock-based compensation, pension, etc.
• Assist with goodwill and long-lived assets impairment tests
• Draft relevant accounting memos and provide accounting guidance to the business
• Assist with specific projects
• Execute controls to support the audit of the company's financial statements conducted by internal/external auditorsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • 5 years of combined experience in a Big Four firm and/or financial reporting for a global, public company
  • Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office, including creating complex formulas in Excel and queries in software applications It'd be great if you also have:
    • Master's degree or MBA
    • Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management system and Active Disclosure or W-Desk
