A financial services firm in Connecticut is currently seeking a new Research Associate for a promising opportunity with their growing Global Equity Portfolio team. Responsibilities:The Research Associate will be responsible for:

• Supporting and continuously interacting with the Portfolio Manager
• Monitoring the portfolio and providing analytical support
• Contributing to the investment research process
• Maintaining the research database by tracking fundamental information
• Performing other duties, as neededQualifications:
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in the Financial industry
  • Bachelor's Degree with strong GPA that demonstrates academic excellence
  • Previous experience Financial Accounting
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organizedDesired Skills:
    • CFA designation or evidence of progress toward achieving designation
    • Experience using Bloomberg
