Job Description:

Greenwich Psychology and Wellness is seeking a licensed cognitive behavioral psychologist, couples and/or family therapist to work with children, adolescents, and adults for a wide range of clinical problems and who is eager to serve and make a positive difference in our patients' lives. This dynamic position will be filled by a candidate who is empathic, authentic, and compassionate while demonstrating ethical and professional behavior consistent with the values of our company and profession.Knowledge and experience of CBT a must. Experience in other evidence-based therapies such as DBT a plus. Services are provided in-office and HIPAA-compliant tele-health appointments as appropriate and as needed. Administrative services provided and flexibility in hours including day and evening hours available. Private pay practice and opportunity to work part time or full time with compensation on a per-patient basis. Compensation is commensurate with experience and is highly competitive. The successful candidate will enjoy flexibility and autonomy in a supportive environment that promotes professional and personal quality of life.The psychologist duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide exemplary clinical services to children, adolescents and/or adults in the form of psychological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for behavioral and psychological problems
  • Provide individual, couples, and family sessions as needed
  • Provide patients with referrals to other therapists, clinics, psychiatrists, or facilities as needed
  • Prescribe and implement treatment consistent with a patient's diagnosis and relevant standards of care
  • Establish relationships with patients that allow them to receive the best possible care, while maintaining professional boundaries, ethical standards, and respecting confidentiality
  • Conduct clinical case management and administrative tasksRequired Qualifications include:
    • Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology)
    • Valid Connecticut license or license eligible
    • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
    • Master's degree (MA, MS) in psychology
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker
