Our top ranked magnet hospital is hiring for a business analyst to join our Healthcare team. The Consumer and Patient Experience Business Intelligence Analyst works in the Analytics and Innovation department and provides advanced analytics and insight to leaders through the organization. The analyst provides data and analytics to offer insight into patient satisfaction, clinical and business/operational performance for projects primarily related to patient experience and access. The analyst will develop standardized dashboards, ad-hoc reports, perform ROI and pro forma/P&L analyses, complete data requests for key stakeholders, create "self-service" tools, and leverage data science and advanced analytical techniques to deliver insights that enable data-driven decision-making. The analyst will work in partnership with the Consumer and Patient Experience team analyzing patient surveys and comments to determine best practices for our teams. We look forward to having you join our team!*Position: Business Analyst - Consumer and Patient Experience Business Intelligence Analyst**Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm**Salary: $70,000 - $125,000**Excellent Benefits Package: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO, Sick Time & Tuition Reimbursement!!**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES / CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: **Analysis** Performs in-depth data analysis including data entry, data collection, data-mining and report generation to support leaders throughout the institution to achieve goals related to our strategic plan.* Develops effective data analyses, dashboards and reporting systems to allow leaders to monitor and manager patient satisfaction data and identify opportunities for improvement* Develops data, analytical, and business intelligence solutions leveraging data science and advanced analytical techniques to delivery insights that enable data-driven decision-making.* Performs routine and ad-hoc financial, operational, quality, market, and consumer analysis (i.e. ROI and pro forma/P&L).* Keeps abreast of and leverages data science and advanced analytical techniques to deliver self-service solutions and specific insights to customers.* Coordinates yearly action planning and goal setting in partnership with the office of Consumer and Patient Experience.*Communication** Reports metrics and qualitative content at organization-wide briefings.* Coordinates project/program activities in the assigned department to enable seamless implementation of the projects assigned.* Acts as a liaison and maintains good communication and collaboration with other departments, all levels of administration, physicians and outside organizations to coordinate and improve operations, accomplish directives and to facilitate the resolution of problems (i.e. coordination with the data warehousing team).*Data Governance** Performs quality assurance testing and assists in peer reviewing analytical solutions to ensure deliverables are validated to meet requirements, accurate, complete, timely and correct.* Perform data entry, data collection, data-mining to support analytical needs* Extract, manipulate, transform, and validate data* Serve as a liaison between business user and data warehouse team* Develop business requirements for reporting* Maintains documentation of past and current analyses*Project leadership* * Own and independently lead both simple and complex analytical projects* Work effectively with colleagues at all levels, both administrative and clinical, both internal and external, to improve performance, accomplish directives and to facilitate the resolution of problem* On occasion, may oversee and provide guidance to more junior analysts* Develop appropriate communication plans and necessary updates* Assists in developing presentations as appropriate for leadership.*QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: * - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Informatics, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare Informatics, Business or similar is required. - Three to Five years of experience developing analytical solutions in a healthcare setting. Sound and proven analytical experience. - Experience working with large volume of data in MS Excel, Tableau. - Background in analyzing patient satisfaction data desired. - Experience working with the Press Ganey database desired, but not required. - Experience utilizing data to support performance improvement initiatives. - Experience working with MS Office suite, including Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access.
