  • Career Advancement OpportunitiesAbout this RoleIn this role, you will perform automated and whole blood collection activities as assigned and ensure that blood collection service operations and systems are in accordance with all policies.Responsibilities
    • Conduct phlebotomy and charge at blood drives
    • Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the blood you collect meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused
    • Remain flexible to work a highly variable schedule that includes early start times, late end times, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of our blood drive sponsors and donors
    • Drive for results and to serve others with a high level of respect for customer service
      • Be a model of professionalism and compassion while serving as an ambassador to the public for the nation's largest not-for-profit blood banking organization
      • The aforementioned responsibilities of the LPN describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive listQualifications
        • Graduate of an accredited LPN school
          • Current license as an LPN
          • Knowledge and/or experience in medical field, phlebotomy skills preferred
          • Excellent communications skills
          • Proven customer service skills with excellent customer service record
          • Good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities
            • Must be able to comply with the demands of irregular hours, flexible assignment of hours and work locations
