We strive to create a safe and healing environment for all.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage - Retirement savings plan with employer match - Professional development and continuing education support - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for new admissions and ongoing patients.- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatric nurses, social workers, and therapists, to provide coordinated care.- Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide necessary interventions.- Provide crisis intervention and management for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.- Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements. - Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and discharge planning.- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in psychiatric care.- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and resources.Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of a residency in Psychiatry. - Board certification in Psychiatry is required. - Valid medical license in the state of New Jersey. - Experience in inpatient psychiatric care is preferred. - Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. - Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
