Job Description:
As we expand our urological health services across Northwell
Health, we are seeking a Robotics trained Urologist to join our
team at Northern Westchester Hospital. The ideal candidate will
play a vital role in diagnosing and treating urological conditions
using advanced robotic-assisted surgical techniques. You will work
in a state-of-the-art surgical environment alongside a team of
experienced medical professionals to deliver the highest level of
patient care to the patients in the communities we seek to serve.
Northern Westchester Hospital is at the forefront of urologic
surgery advancement. We're the first hospital in Westchester County
to offer Aquablation®, the only image-guided, automated robotic
therapy for lower urinary tract symptoms from benign prostatic
hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate. With the da Vinci Surgical
System®, our surgeons use a high-definition 3D camera and highly
specialized instruments that offer a full range of precise motion
in tiny incisions. This enables greater precision and the ability
to preserve more healthy tissue. We conduct numerous clinical
trials as a demonstration of our commitment to the advancement of
patient care. You will be working in Mount Kisco, New York, a
beautiful suburban community in Westchester County approximately 40
miles from midtown Manhattan. Are you Made for this?
Qualifications: MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College
of Medicine. NYS License. Completion of Residency with Board
Certification or eligibility. Currently licensed as a physician in
the State of New York. Outstanding communication and management
skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff
and hospital management. Must possess recent experience in
generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques. The
Department of Urology Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for
Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within
Long Island, New York City, and Westchester; with the goal of
providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness
services. Our physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive
procedures to treat all urologic diseases including those affecting
the bladder, kidneys, male genitalia, and prostate. In an effort to
make the transition as smooth as possible, you will have partners
who have a wealth of experience in all the specialty areas of
urology. There is a true camaraderie within our group. We hold
weekly conferences to help keep all updated on the latest
treatments and technologies. We have residencies and an extensive

Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
