Medical Officer/Administrative Manager The following statements

work requirements of this position. About the Role: As an Internal
Medicine Physician at TRUE HEALTH, you will play a crucial role in
providing comprehensive healthcare to adult patients across
multiple locations in Hicksville, Brooklyn, and Fresh Meadows. Your
primary responsibility will be to diagnose and manage a wide range
of medical conditions, ensuring that patients receive personalized
and effective treatment plans. You will collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to promote preventive care and manage
chronic illnesses, ultimately improving patient outcomes and
quality of life. This position requires a commitment to continuous
learning and adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape, as well
as a dedication to patient-centered care. By fostering strong
relationships with patients and their families, you will contribute

wellness. Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor
of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility for board
certification. Valid medical license to practice in New York State.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a primary care setting or
outpatient clinic. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR)
systems. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or other
languages. Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed
to practice in New York State. Board certified or board eligible
status. At least 1-2 years of experience preferred. Ability to
travel to other sites for coverage as needed. Bilingual in English
and Spanish or Creole/French required. Responsibilities: Conduct
thorough patient evaluations, including medical history assessments
and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat a variety of acute
and chronic medical conditions, developing individualized treatment
plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and
imaging studies, to inform clinical decision-making. Provide
preventive care services, including vaccinations and health
screenings, to promote overall wellness. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure
comprehensive treatment. Provides comprehensive medical care to
patients from adolescent years and older in ambulatory care
settings. Provides consultations by examining patients; reviewing
medical records, reports, and logs; researching information and
developing conclusions and care recommendations. Adheres to
professional standards, practice policies and procedures, federal,
state, and local requirements, and regulatory standards. Works as a
team player assisting other staff providers with developing
diagnosis and patient treatment options. Prescribes or administer
treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized
medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
Orders, performs, and interprets test and analyze records, reports,
and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition. Obtain
and maintain hospital privileges at a Hospital Medical Center in
order to provide and coordinate care for patients in the hospital
setting. Records and maintains patient information such as medical
history, reports and examination results. Monitors patients’
conditions and progress and re-evaluation treatments as necessary.
Reviews health risk assessments (HRA’s) to help determine a plan of
care. Explains procedures and discuss test results or prescribed
treatments with patients. Refers patients to medical specialists or
other practitioners when necessary. Participates in LEAN and other
activities necessary to implement the multi-disciplinary
patient-centered medical home approach for the care of pediatric
patients. Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing
medical educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in
professional organizations. Other duties as assigned. Skills: The
required skills for this position include strong diagnostic
abilities and clinical judgment, which are essential for accurately
assessing patient conditions and determining appropriate treatment
plans. Excellent communication skills are vital for effectively
interacting with patients, their families, and other healthcare
team members, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged in the
care process. Time management and organizational skills will be
utilized daily to balance patient appointments, follow-ups, and
administrative tasks efficiently. Additionally, a commitment to
continuous education and adaptability will help you stay current
with medical advancements and best practices. Preferred skills,
such as proficiency in EHR systems, will enhance your ability to
document patient information accurately and streamline
communication within the healthcare team. SALARY : Commensurate
with experience $180,000 - $265,000 MORE INFORMATION : This is an
