Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Focused on providing top-tier rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, we aim to enhance patient wellness and recovery. This role requires collaboration with physical therapists to develop treatment plans and assist patients in routine exercises and activities. Ideal candidates will be compassionate, attentive, and driven by a commitment to improve patients' quality of life. Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans. Perform routine patient care activities under the direction of a physical therapist. Help maintain a safe and clean working environment. Document patient’s response to treatment and report on outcomes. Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care. Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and treatments Ability to operate rehabilitation equipment Strong observational and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capability to handle physical demands of patient assistance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant CPR certification
