Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine Location: Staten Island, NY 10310
Practice Setting: Outpatient Addiction Psychiatry Clinic Start
Date: March 2026 Assignment Length: 13-26 weeks Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration:
8-hour days Patient Volume: 14–16 patients per day Call Coverage:
Optional; occasional weekend, night, or holiday coverage EMR
System: Meditech Qualifications Board Certification in Psychiatry
(required) Board Certification in Addiction Medicine (preferred)
Active, unrestricted New York State medical license Minimum 1 year
of clinical experience in adult psychiatry and addiction medicine
Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including
Suboxone Expertise in treating co-occurring psychiatric and
substance use disorders Knowledge of holistic and alternative
therapies (e.g., yoga, acupuncture) is a plus Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive psychiatric and addiction medicine care to
adults and young adults in an outpatient setting Conduct
psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and create
individualized treatment plans Utilize medication-assisted
treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary healthcare team including nurse practitioners,
therapists, and counselors Integrate holistic and alternative
therapies into patient care when appropriate Document patient
encounters using Meditech EMR Participate in telepsychiatry and
remote patient visits Contribute to program development and quality
