Berkshire Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing top-notch medical assistance and support to our patients undergoing rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. As a CMA at Berkshire Post Acute, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to administer medications, perform routine clinical tasks, and ensure the best possible care and recovery of our patients. Your expertise in medical assistance will aid in sustaining the high standards of care that Berkshire Post Acute is known for. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Perform routine clinical tasks like taking vital signs, administering injections, and recording patient information. Prepare and administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider. Assist with patient rehabilitation and recovery activities. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure the confidentiality of patient records and other sensitive information. Proficient in clinical procedures, including taking vital signs, phlebotomy, and medication administration. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT). CPR certification required.
