Job Description:
Round Hill Club in Greenwich, CT, is -seeking a Full-Time Line
Cooks to add to their distinguished kitchen staff.
The Line Cook will be responsible for plating dishes, preparing and
cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas and
making sure the kitchen is stocked. -Main Duties and
Responsibilities: -
Complete ownership stocking and
setting up the kitchen stationsPreparing food including cleaning
and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts,
appetizers and snacks -Plating prepared foods based on senior
chef's guidanceWorking with servers to ensure that orders are
completed according to request and on timeWashing and cleaning the
kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end
of shifts -Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and
hygiene meet food safety standards and regulationsCompetency:
Completion of vocational school or a
two-year associate degree or proven culinary work experience -At
least three years of cooking experienceExcellent kitchen
administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a
teamStrong organization and active listening skillsExceptional time
management skills -Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop
and frequently lift up to 30 pounds if necessary.Must be able to
regularly stand, walk, use hands to finer, handle, or feel, and
reach with hands and arms.Must be able to stand for extended
periods of times.Must be able to periodically work in a warm to hot
environmentCompensation and Benefits:
- $20.00 - $25.00/hour depending on
experience
