Job Description JRN 2186 A private family in Mt. Kisco, NY is
seeking a full-time Housekeeping Manager to oversee and maintain
their primary residence. This is a long-term, full-time role, and
is a great opportunity for a dependable, detail-focused
professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys managing a
home quietly and efficiently behind the scenes. Ideal candidates
will have 5 years of experience in a similar capacity. Key
Responsibilities (but not limited to): Hands-on housekeeping with a
focus on deep, detail-oriented cleaning of the primary residence
Primary responsibility is the first and second floors of the main
house Coordinate weekly deep clean with contracted cleaning team
Manage and execute cleaning routines across guest houses and other
property structures, as needed Maintain a cleaning schedule and
system already in place; must be able to self-manage time and
workflow effectively Collaborate with the broader estate team to
stay aligned on family’s needs No laundry, cooking, childcare, pet
care, or driving required Ideal Candidate: Experienced housekeeper
with strong attention to detail and the ability to work
independently Skilled in time management and working efficiently
within set windows of time Comfortable working around a
self-sufficient family that values discretion and professionalism
Open to candidates with less experience if they are motivated,
dependable, and willing to learn Comfortable commuting from
surrounding areas (candidates from NYC or CT welcome; early arrival
required) Comfortable with a trial period prior to official hire
Must be able to pass a background check Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate: $40–$50/hour (based on experience) Healthcarel 401(k)
plan Paid vacation: 2 weeks, plus holidays, and additional PTO days
annually Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00
PM (no weekends, with occasional late evenings if needed) Location:
Mt. Kisco, NY. This is a fully onsite position, Monday-Friday
