Job Description:

Legal Assistant - (Hybrid) Office 3 days a week; WFH 2 days a week Rye Brook, New York office. The Corporate Paralegal will report to the VP of Legal, NA and work closely with other members of the Legal team. The Corporate Paralegal will perform legal research, draft correspondence, and prepare and edit legal contracts for attorney review. Your Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate required
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Additional clerical and data entry experience preferred
• Additional legal experience a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Use of general office equipment
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Good English grammar and composition skills
• Ability to work in a team environment Your Contributions
  • Works with the team to research and prepare contracts and legal documents, such as customer and vendor related contracts, confidentiality agreements etc.
  • Assists with the research and preparation of documentation for company amendments
  • Coordinates legal work performed by outside counsel, including overseeing/tracking legal budget
  • Aids on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters
  • Checks and edits legal forms and documents for accuracy
  • Manages calendars and tickler systems, and assists in meeting deadlines
  • Answers emails, faxes and telephone enquiries and requests
  • Issues invoices and statement of accounts
  • Assists with updating reports for automated processes
