Job Title: AttorneyWe are seeking a highly skilled Attorney to join our team at State Farm Insurance Companies. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial.Responsibilities:

• Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures
• Possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills
• Be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseloadQualifications:
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation**Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for US work authorization for this opportunity**
