Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client in Greenwich, CT is looking for a customer service oriented VDI Help Desk Support to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the organization's front liner and you will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. Greenwich is the location and they need to be on site. It will not move to Bridgeport or Norwalk. Responsibilities: * Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issue* Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action* Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and/or electronically and diagnose then resolve technical hardware and software issues* Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support* Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources* Update customer data and produce activity reports* Walk customers through problem solving process* Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution* Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customer's expectations* Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure* Recommended procedure modifications or improvements* Assist in making recommendations for new equipment purchases* Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services* Other duties as defined by managementJob Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent training and experience* Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience providing VDI desk support* Strong broad based IT support experience and knowledge, network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience* Exceptional Microsoft Office skills; Experience with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, email and OneDrive provisioning* Preferred: Experience with Hyper-V, VMware vSphere 5.5/6.0, Virtual Center, VMware View 7, VMware ThinApp 6.0, vShield, VMware Update Manager; Minimum would be solid Citrix experience* Working knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote control* Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking skills* Customer service orientation* Strong client-facing, oral and written communication skills* Local travel is requiredKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
