The Maintenance Parts Clerk provides support to the
Maintenance/Engineering department performing a variety of
cross-functional duties including but not limited to the purchasing
of MRO/Maintenance parts, managing parts inventory, entering
work-orders, and creating reports. Key Job Responsibilities,
support: Maintain parts inventory system Timely ordering of parts
to reduce / eliminate the need for emergency parts ordering.
All parts will be tagged and logged in computer Min / Max levels
will be constantly audited for accuracy Maintain clean and
organized part room Ensure inventory, inventory cycle accounting
Other tasks as assigned
Education and Work History: High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Working knowledge of computers, including intermediate level of
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with parts inventory management/CMMS is highly preferred
Able to perform regular lifting of 50 pounds, walk, bend, crouch,
climb ladders and stairs, and be able to maintain a regular work
schedule. Worker subject to noise sufficient to require hearing
protection in designated areas. Work requires the ability to read,
write and communicate in English in order to understand and follow
work and safety instructions.
