Our company is currently in search of a Permanent Commercial Superintendent who will be responsible for overseeing a variety of commercial construction projects across the Tri-State Areas. You will be a crucial part of our team, managing all aspects of construction, from coordinating subcontractors to ensuring the quality of interior finishes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial and retail construction, tenant improvements, and scheduling. If you are a detail-oriented professional with experience in Procore and coordinating various aspects of construction projects, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:As a Commercial Superintendent, you will be responsible for:1. Overseeing all field operations to ensure that work is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.2. Coordinating and supervising the work of all subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within the budget.3. Implementing and managing schedules, adjusting as needed to ensure timely completion of projects.4. Ensuring quality control for all construction, including interiors, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.5. Managing tenant improvements, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and within the agreed timeframe.6. Proactively identifying and solving problems to prevent project delays.7. Coordinating with project managers and other team members to ensure all aspects of the projects are in alignment.8. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and clean job site at all times.Qualifications:To be considered for the Commercial Superintendent role, you must have:1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.2. Proven experience managing subcontractors, scheduling, and coordinating various aspects of construction projects.3. Strong knowledge of commercial and retail construction, including tenant improvements and interiors.4. Proficiency in Procore or a similar construction management software.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage a team.6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.7. A commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of maintaining high standards on job sites.8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed to various job sites across the Tri-State Areas.
