Job Overview of Bilingual Spanish Clinician - School Based
(Westchester County)The School-Based Clinician provides direct
clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual,
family and group therapy) in the assigned school district. The
School-Based Clinician engages with school personnel to assess and
coordinate services and participate in activities for students and
their families taking place during and after school hours.Essential
Duties of Bilingual Spanish Clinician- School Based (Westchester
County)Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to,
the following:Develops and implements clinically appropriate
treatment plans and all related documentation for client
recordsProvides at least 25 billable hours per week of
psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual,
group, family intervention as well as other agency approved
evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site
visitsPromotes integrated, person-centered careGenerates and
monitor proper communication with internal and external
stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and
maintains records of communicationsServes as on call clinician as
scheduled during rotating basisMaintains knowledge of OMH
regulations as they relate to clinical practiceEssential
Qualifications of Bilingual Spanish Clinician (Westchester
County)Key qualifications include:Minimum of one-year experience
and licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT). NYS- LMSW or LCSW
preferred.Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent
and familiesKnowledge of and experience with multiple modalities
and evidence-based InterventionsStrong computer skills, with
knowledge of electronic health record systemsExcellent oral and
written communication skills requiredAbility to meet session
