If you're ready to take the next step in your career with a hospital that invests in you, we want to meet you!*This position is eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus*Pay: $28.00 - $51.00 / hour + competitive shift differentialsThis pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr. Shift DifferentialSat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Shift DifferentialSat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr. Shift DifferentialAs a Veterinary Technician, you will:Triage and obtain patient history.Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents .Perform other relevant role responsibilities.Why BluePearl?Our passion is pets. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours.
