Summer Intern – DSPV Compliance on the Drug Safety &
Pharmacovigilance Team to help us expand what’s possible for
patients with serious diseases. The Insmed Summer Internship
Program is designed to give you more than just a glimpse into the
pharmaceutical industry—it’s a chance to make a real impact. Over
the course of the summer, you’ll gain hands-on experience,
contribute to meaningful team projects, and learn directly from
skilled professionals who are invested in your growth. The Insmed
Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the
pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled
professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2026 Summer
Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship.
The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments
within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and
objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the
company. What You'll Do: In this role, you’ll have the opportunity
to gain hands-on experience in how a global drug safety department
manages the full ecosystem of DSPV Compliance across people,
processes, and systems. You’ll also: Shadow and learn from DSPV
Compliance team members through structured rotations to understand
how training, documentation, deviations, PV audits and connect in
day-to-day operations. Assist in mapping out role-based training
requirements to ensure DSPV teams meet defined regulatory and
competency expectations. Support the development of standardized
onboarding and mentoring tools to document personnel readiness
prior to independent work. Modernize manual compliance workflows by
helping transition trackers into automated tools to improve
visibility and reduce manual effort. Contribute to the review of
compliance process documents to ensure procedures are clear,
accurate, and easy for the team to follow. Complete a final DSPV
Compliance Internship Project that allows you to apply what you’ve
learned across the pillars to help solve a real-world compliance
challenge. Who You Are: You are a current student working on a
bachelor's or master's degree in science, Healthcare, PharmD, or a
related field. A high level of organization and a genuine interest
in the "behind-the-scenes" compliance work that keeps patients
safe. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate,
high-quality documentation. Effective communication skills and the
ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different
DSPV functions. Comfort with technology and a desire to learn how
digital tools are used to solve complex compliance challenges. Nice
to have (but not required): Experience or interest in digital
workflow and process-mapping tools to support task automation and
visual process flows that enhance compliance traceability. Where
You’ll Work This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater, New
Jersey office. You’ll work remotely most of the time, with
in-person collaboration when it matters most. Pay Range:
