Are you ready to experiment with us? The Program At Novo Nordisk,
interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced
industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work
experience. For ten weeks, interns will be immersed in the
environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to
the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful
project work. Our internship program also includes instructor led
trainings, a leadership engagement series, and a guided mentorship
program to offer professional and personal development. In addition
to individual department responsibilities, interns will also
participate in the program's capstone event, the Innovation in
Action Case Competition. Assigned to cross-functional teams,
interns will work closely to develop an innovative and
comprehensive solution to a business problem currently facing Novo
Nordisk. At the conclusion of the program, teams will present their
findings to a board of top Novo Nordisk officials representing the
various lines of business. Program Start: June 1st, 2026 Program
End: August 7th, 2026 The Position The Obesity Cardiology Marketing
intern will have a wide variety of responsibilities, including:
Manage cardiologist-facing promotional materials, ensuring clinical
accuracy, brand consistency, and regulatory compliance. Support the
Promotional Review Board submission process for cardiology
materials: learn, manage, and drive timely approvals and quality
control of job submissions. Support development and delivery of
congress assets for cardiology meetings, including booth materials,
etc. Provide cross-functional support on ad hoc cardiology
projects, collaborating with medical, marketing, and legal teams to
meet project objectives. Contribute to tactical planning for the
cardiology portfolio, translating strategy into actionable
short-term initiatives. Develop and present at least one innovative
cardiologist engagement tactic to the team, championing new
approaches to enhance HCP relationships and clinical impact.
Qualifications Must be a current student enrolled or recently
graduated (graduation date no earlier than April 2026) at/from an
accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor’s
degreeA completed or in progress undergraduate, graduate or
doctoral degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy,
Life Sciences or a related discipline preferredClass year of a
junior or senior preferredStrong academic record with a preferred
cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higherConscientious self-starter with good
organizational skills, project management skills and attention to
detailAbility to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be
able to multi-taskStrong interpersonal communication and ability to
collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently,
across functional lines, and with internal customersDemonstrated
personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and
willingness to learnProficient in Microsoft Office Tools including
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. At this time, Novo Nordisk is not
currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the
future would require sponsorship for employment visa status. The
base compensation range for this position is $52,000 to $89,000 on
an hourly basis. Due to the temporary nature of this program, this
position is not eligible to participate in any of the Company's
benefit plans and will not be entitled to any paid time off unless
