Our client, a specialty chemicals and materials company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the R&D / Laboratory Operations department supporting the Polymer and Adhesives Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and solid analytical skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Lab Technician Location: Bridgewater, NJ Pay Range: $25/hour What’s the Job? Formulate and synthesize polymers and adhesives under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist. Prepare coated samples using laboratory coating equipment and test performance characteristics of coated substrates. Conduct testing and evaluation of adhesives following established procedures. Collect, evaluate, and accurately record experimental data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. Organize, perform, summarize, and report experimental results using charts, tables, and written documentation. What’s Needed? Previous laboratory experience in chemistry, polymers, adhesives, or related fields. Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative while following established procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation. Basic computer skills for data entry, charts, and reporting results. Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and collaborate with technical teams. What’s in it for me?
